Terms of use

Terms

Last updated: 2026-10-17

Scope of these terms

These terms cover the marketing site, the MIT developer libraries, the finished-tool Pro pilot and the waitlist. The hosted Gateway is separate early access and is not generally available. A current store build may retain legacy free features; Pro licensing applies to compatible new official releases, not retroactively to old builds.

The OSS package

The npm package @raeven-co/sether is licensed under the MIT License — see the LICENSE file. You can use it, modify it, and redistribute it under the MIT terms, including commercially. The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Free tools and the Pro pilot

The finished tools keep scanning, masks, token replacement and restoration of all known mappings in Free. Pro in new official licensed releases adds realistic decoys, custom watchlists, with custom detection rules in Shield. One person can use the bundle in Shield and the editor. The editor source and full npm/PyPI libraries retain their MIT licenses; an official tool entitlement does not remove those source-code rights.

Install a compatible licensed build before choosing to start the seven-day Pro trial from your account. The trial needs no card and never automatically creates a charge. At expiry, the tools return to Free. Restoring existing known mappings stays available; session mappings still expire when the browser closes and missing mappings cannot be recovered.

Paid periods and availability

The Pro pilot price is $5 for one month or $48 for one year, in USD, for one person. Renewal is manual: a trial or an expired paid period does not automatically charge you. The checkout states the selected period and total before payment. Checkout may remain unavailable while payment provisioning is completed; an account or trial is not a promise that a paid purchase is currently available. Do not submit a payment elsewhere to activate a tool. Contact support if a payment or activation fails.

Account and license checks are separate from local prompt processing. Do not share activation codes or account access. A locally cached signed license can remain valid until its displayed expiry; revocation takes effect on refresh or when that lease expires. These controls do not provide cloud storage or recovery of your original values.

The marketing site & waitlist

  • The interactive sandbox is provided for evaluation only. We make no guarantees about detection accuracy in the browser-only demo. Production deployments should install and assess the MIT libraries or use an appropriate supported tool release.
  • Submitting the waitlist form means you consent to receive product launch and update emails from Sether. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing emorylebo@gmail.com.
  • You agree not to misuse the site (no scraping, no security testing without prior written consent, no attempts to disrupt service).

No warranty (alpha software)

Sether is alpha software. The OSS package and any pre-release behavior on this site are provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raeven Company LTD disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raeven Company LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the marketing site, the OSS package, or the waitlist.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

Changes

We may update these terms as the tools and pilot change. The date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
