Set up first
Create your account and install a licensed pilot build. Ordinary Free use still needs no account.
Free foundations. Pro workflows.
Keep supported detection, masks, tokens and restoration on Free. Add realistic decoys, your own watchlists, and custom rules in Shield with Pro in the new licensed tools.
No card. No automatic charge. The trial starts only when you choose.
Install a licensed pilot build before starting; current store builds may differ.
One person. Browser and editor.
$5 total for the month · manual renewal
Try first. Purchasing is a separate choice. Your account shows checkout availability; no charge is made here.
A clear boundary
Review, replace, restore. Pro adds more ways to customise the new official tools; the developer libraries retain their MIT APIs.

A trial or paid period ending never adds a restoration fee. Existing mapping lifetimes still apply. Pro does not include a hosted gateway, shared team administration or a guarantee of complete detection.
Try the boundary
Switch between Free, trial, Pro and trial ended. Try decoys in Pro, then switch to Trial ended and restore the sample. Recovery stays available.
The live tools verify access separately. This fictional example shows the experience without registering, sending a prompt or starting a trial.

This preview does not start a trial or change your account. Real restoration needs a recognised replacement and its matching mapping.
Seven days. Your choice.
Create your account and install a licensed pilot build. Ordinary Free use still needs no account.
Choose Start trial in your account. See the exact end date before activating Pro in either tool.
Buy a month or a year if Pro helps. Otherwise return to Free. No automatic purchase, deletion or lock on existing mappings.
For builders
npm and PyPI remain MIT, including supported decoy and restore APIs. Commercial use follows the license; Pro does not add a royalty to your SDK integration.
Developers using Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI
Node and TypeScript teams building LLM features
Python teams on FastAPI, Flask, httpx, OpenAI or Anthropic
Teams who need names, organisations and places found in free text
Self-hosted n8n users building AI workflows
Teams running AI agents that call tools
The hosted gateway is separate early access. We can discuss a scoped integration without changing your free library rights.
Questions about money
The npm and PyPI libraries remain free under MIT, including their supported decoy and restore APIs. The finished tools have a Free tier for supported detection, masks, token redaction and restoration of recognised replacements while the matching mappings are available. Pro is an optional upgrade for the new official tool releases.
Pro unlocks realistic decoys and custom watchlists in the new licensed Shield and editor builds, plus custom detection rules in Shield. One personal Pro account covers both tools. Team administration, policy distribution and hosted processing are separate future work, not included promises.
Create an account, install a licensed pilot build, then explicitly start the trial from your account. The account shows the exact end time. No card is required and the trial never turns into a paid purchase automatically. Signing up, installing a tool or using this page does not start the clock.
New Pro actions stop and Free features remain available. Existing watchlists and rules stay stored but are inactive for new Free operations. You can still restore recognised replacements using mappings that remain available. Paying cannot recover mappings that have expired or disappeared; Shield mappings still follow their browser-session lifetime.
No. The launch offer is a one-period purchase: $5 for one month or $48 for one year. Renewing requires another explicit purchase. The trial takes no card and makes no charge. If checkout has not been enabled, your account says so instead of taking a payment or pretending Pro is active.
The finished tools still process prompt text locally. Optional Pro activation and refresh contact Sether with an activation credential and product identifier; the entitlement response contains account and access metadata, not prompt text or replacement mappings. Free local use needs no account. Account and payment handling is described in the privacy policy.
A verified cached entitlement works until its signed expiry, for at most seven days and never beyond the trial or paid period. Refreshing needs a connection. Shield asks you to re-enter your activation code; the editor can renew using the code in its SecretStorage. Neither polls automatically. After an expired lease the tool falls back to Free without deleting local work. Revoking a credential blocks future refreshes; an already-issued offline entitlement can remain valid until it expires.
Pro starts with the licensed Shield 0.6.0 and editor 0.2.0 pilot builds. Existing marketplace versions may still use the earlier free feature model. Install a licensed build before starting the trial. Marketplace availability changes only after its own review; creating an account does not update an installed extension.
It is a separate early-access project and is not included in Pro. You do not need it to use the free SDKs or local finished tools. Hosted processing receives text before redaction and needs its own data-handling terms; it cannot inherit the local tools' processing claim.
Yes. The MIT npm and PyPI packages permit commercial use and redistribution under their license conditions. An optional subscription or purchase for the official finished tools does not change those package rights or create a royalty on an existing MIT integration.
